Brooklyn Townhouse Kitchen

Scope: Kitchen Renovation

Location: Brooklyn, NY

Photographer: Nick Glimenakis

In this Brooklyn townhouse, we transformed an outdated 1980s kitchen into a modern, timeless space.

By uncovering additional ceiling height during demolition, we extended the upper cabinets to a striking 48” full height, maximizing storage and presence. The design balances classic touches—like brass fixtures and Arabescato Viola marble countertops—with contemporary elements such as a plaster-look vent hood, two-tone cabinetry in bold colors, handmade Mercury Mosaics backsplash tile, and a patterned floor tile that anchors the space.

We reimagined the breakfast nook by adding custom storage that houses a warming oven and appliances, complemented by a sculptural light fixture, sleek table, and a cushioned bench that invites casual dining and comfort.
